I am a case in point that a good way to earn extra income is by article writing. Initially when I started doing this I wanted to make some extra money for luxuries, and I wanted to know how to work online so that I would have something to fall back on if the, you know what hit the fan, in my job.

If you can earn $125 a week by article writing, this is a good way to earn extra income. This is $500 a month and it can make the difference between being able to make that next mortgage or credit card payment or not. It can also be put away or used for creating additional streams of income.

I took a huge risk, and I was single minded about it, I don’t advocate that anyone go about article writing the way I did, although in the beginning I had the right idea. I no longer wanted to look for a job with cell phone, where I was on call 24/7, no matter that it came with a car, health insurance, massive salary and loads of perks. What I didn’t have was freedom.

Personal freedom is very valuable, and only when I lost my job did I see how valuable this was to me. I could write my own check but I had to work damn hard to do it and still took a huge loss in earnings.

But it is only now, after 18 months that the fruits of my labor are beginning to pay off and I am starting to, use this article writing to create other extra streams of income.

This may not be the best way to earn extra income, but I know that it works. I also know a lot of other article writers who will agree with me. It works for me, and if it can work for me, it can work for you too.

Take a look around your house and see if you have some things you do not want or do not need anymore. You can always have a garage sale to earn some money. With a garage sale, all of your items are on display and you can make a decent amount of money in one afternoon.

Turn your hobbies and things you like to do into a way to make money. If you draw or paint you could try to sell your pictures. If you create jewelry, you could try to sell them. If you like to knit or crochet, you could try to sell things you have made. There is a large market for handmade items so trying to take advantage of that could pay off in a big way.

There are many ways to earn extra income but it will take some work and some effort to see results. Use your creativity and your drive and you will have money rolling in in no time.
